It's time to press pause and give thanks, yes, even for this crazy beautiful world. If you want to volunteer and give back on Thanksgiving, check out Gobble Gobble Give or consider running in a race to benefit the Midnight Mission. If you'd rather get some yuks, there's a hot meal waiting for you at the Laugh Factory. Non-Turkey Day activities include appearances by Cat Power, Esperanza Spalding and New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand.
